You assume too much.
I get the impression that you believe there is a logical way to
determine whether a Master from one person is the same as another's.
What you seem to forget is that adepts are complicated beings. Who
are we to think that we can accurately assess their true nature?
Take any average person and you'll find out he or she is far more
complicated than you thought.

I recall reading somewhere in print (I will not be able to quote chapter
and verse) that in an informal conversation, Krishnamurti, when asked about
Masters, commented "you do not know what you are talking about!"
An average person is complicated enough. There is even a saying that "you
do not know your spouse until you go through a divorce!"
