This article from THEOSOPHY magazine is mostly geared for enquirers,
newcomers, and fairly new students of theosophy who are list members of
the three boards that I'm posting it on, which are all receiving a lot
of the same posts about HPB and "The Secret Doctrine" -- both the book
by that name and the doctrine itself. This collated article is about the
doctrine itself. As I was proofreading it a little while ago, and
reading a lot of the general ideas, opinions, and claims being posted as
the e-mails flowed in from these groups, I simply thought that it would
be timely to post it right now, for whatever it will be worth to each
new or long-time student of Theosophy.
