Re: Theos-World Great Minds Think...........

Well said. If what has been presented in the modern theosophical movement has affected our attitudes and our relationships with rest of the world and has resulted in helping ourselves and those with whom we come into contact, then that is of real value no matter from whom it has come nor what shortcomings are there in the lives of those who chose to write on theosophical matters. For most of us, the most important thing is how our lives have changed on account of the ideas presented in the theosophical movement.

Dear Theosophy Scholars,
What good does intellectual argument regarding Blavadsky's Secret
Doctrine accomplish if the essence of its message is lost and buried under
damaged egos? Why not research Blavadsky for her thoughts on
intellectualizing at the expense of the human heart. The little that I've
gleaned from your posts seems to point towards progressing on our soul's
journey -not regressing, as we expound upon it.
Perhaps the people, whose writings I have so enjoyed and benefited from,
could pause for a few moments and make the heroic effort to rise above their
perceived "slights" to resume email conversations that many silent ones,
such as I, value.
I am a teacher and have little time to research and post. You have no
idea how your postings reach across the ethers to reach the hearts, minds
and souls of so many.
Please reconsider your momentary discomforts, born of bruising words
hurled into cyberspace; and use your literary expertise and love of
Blavadsky to heal those of us that look to you for the wisdom of the
Masters>> The path is difficult. It does require self discipline and
choosing words carefully. If you guys can't then who, pray tell, can?
Think of your returning to the list serv in service to others...... We
need every view point.! If we are not free to express our thoughts without
chastisement, then we will be bound to the limitations of those brave few
who still remain. You each have your "light" to shed upon the subject of
Blavadsky. What would we do without you?
