Larry and Bill:

There was a fellow in New York a number of years ago
who started a successful congregation despite the fact
that he was a known career criminal and ex convict. 
He was interviewed by TIME magazine and said candidly
that congregations will forgive anything except
finding out that the "minister" is not celibate. If
they think he has no sex life, all else is
permissible.

There was a Baptist preacher here who got sent to the
pen when he was dscovered to be a serial rapist. I
guess his career as a minister is over.
