Yes, Steve, I would hope that if HPB was among us
again today that she would be writing "against
orthodoxy, abdication of our responsibility to think
for ourselves, and the ridiculous idea that any mortal
is infallible."

But who on this list has suggested that she or any
mortal is "infallible"?

I personally have tried very hard to encourage people
to think through issues for themselves by publishing
all sorts of material on my website.

But what concerns me about many of Brigitte's posts is
that she simply repeats statements by other scholars
without exploring and questioning whether these
statements/ideas are really true or not. And if one
questions any of these statements she reacts in a
negative fashion and many times uses ad hominem
attacks.

Brigitte has not hesitated to call me a theosophical
fundamentalist instead of dealing with the subject
matter of the discussions. Again this is a tactic to
divert attention away from the subject matter and
issues of historical importance.
