Dear Georg
Many thanks that is well expressed.
I have been looking for such a clear way of expressing my
annoyance.
To study THEOSOPHY is our objective,
To deal with individuals who have provided us with information
has little or no relevance to the study we are interested in.
It’s like an itch that needs a very powerful de-itcher.
Best wishes,
Dallas

Subject: Re: P.B.Randolph and MAHATMAS......
I think if some of us spent as much time finding the Truth's
found in the mass of Theosophical stuff available, and expounded
a bit on that with the same fervor, to build on that, an even
better foundation of Truth, we might progress.
It seems though, that a great deal of energy is being spent on
finding human errors in Theosophy; as if it were some Company on
the stock market; and dig and dig to say nothing good of it at
all.
I was under the impression that what publishers of Theosophical
stuff were out to do was provide an already good mass of well
researched (though never perfect) philosophical material, stuff
we can with some 'faith' at first take for face value, to build
our own knowledge base up. Then go from there.
An opinion of mine: If you think you can ever find the "TRUTH" in
any book, in any language, in any word, in any tongue; then you
have a long way to go babe.
All the Theosophical stuff is for is to build a foundation of
understanding for later much higher ordeals; which I can tell you
is about radical symbolism (not words). Not even math can do it.
No thing on earth can do it. BUT, using math for some can be a
way of preparing for higher symbolism. For another music. And so
on. But these 'tools' must be manufactured by the individual.
Do not take my word for it; nor should you take any word for it;
take whatever you can from anything and run with it. If that does
not work, come back and grab some more, and run again.
I hate to think Theosophy can be turned into a thing similar to
what happened to Ham Radio when CB became popular.
I will bet that if you have trouble finding something right in
Theosophy, chances are you can not find anything right anywhere,
and you are probably misserable too.
My only plea is to have some sort of respect for what it is we
are really trying to deal with here. If this Truth has any value
to us, and we treat it like this! I hate to see us in a Natural
History Museum! The place would be torn apart in seconds like the
buildings in New York.
I will end with my asking some of us to sit back for a day or two
and take a look around, then take a look within; then come back
refreshed and go about helping eachother out in progressing in
some direction, rather than finding only new ammo to try to blow
holes in a bunch of words. Words are not the final Word; where
Theosophy can take us is way farther than any word can reach.
Think about it. A babbling drooling old stroke victim might be
treated like a fool, taken for a child, and treated like a scum
because he can not speak. But inside that man can be a storehouse
of knowledge and true Gnosis that would shame a thousand of us
speaking fools. Just know that the Heart of Theosophy is where it
is at; its the Heart! Not the zillions of freakin words!!
