Hi Paul, and all of you,
A:
Do good. Be good. See good. Think good. Act good.
Always help, never hurt - and at least seek to not hurt.
God is not a 'he' or a 'she' - God is within all and beyond.
Thank you for answering Paul.
B:
To answer you Paul:
***I disagree with you in the below quote. My view is: One can not just like that justify use the word 'always' on :
'The people who are always accusing others of
> trying to destroy and invalidate *Theosophy* are in fact the ones
> really out to destroy and invalidate *scholarly history* as an
> approach to Theosophy.'
***Answer: First I am not accusing anyone on the above. That (use of 'always') is not true seen from a certain standpoint.
Some of us just points out - the great lack of interest in - wisdom and wisdom teachings - several historical scholars on Theosophy has had through the previous century. As the wise say: 'You shall judge them on their fruits'.
(You see it was not clear if it was - me - Paul adressed with the above.)***
C:
But let us not forget, that - 'scholarly history' - are based on - facts -which are ONLY
relatively true.
To all of you - try this:
Facts and Historical facts:
Facts are not, what they are assumed to be - and that goes for historical facts too. Facts are only relatively true.
Those who are interested in ultimate truth cannot regard material reality as more than transitory.
D:
To Paul:
I think you to a certain degree have done well with your books - because - they have raised important debate within theosophical circles and outside them too. But their degree of lack of interest in the wisdom teaching of Theosophy - springs to my eyes, and because of that their quality is not so high, as could have been possible. (But let us remember, that is just my view. Other people, I guess worships them. Does Paul too? )***
E:
Paul you wrote:

*** Answer: Exactly. I agree. And I find the above to be important. I am not trying to silence or shame anyone - I hope that is clear. I am seeking tohelp - help all to think more wisely or transcend thinking.
But to my view Paul, you seem to try the - socalled - 'short cut'.
Here is a tale - called THE SHORT CUT:
Q: Is there anything wrong with following a path which has been trodden by thousands, or even millions, in the past?
A: None whatever, providing that you don't mind ending up like the man at London Airport who followed the route taken by millions before him.
Q: What happened to him?
A: He followed a sign which said: 'To the aircraft'. He found that it led to the gangway of an areoplane. When he had boarded and the plane had taken off, he aksed the stewardess: 'Where do I get the connecting flight to Rome?'
She answered: 'Under the circumstances, you will have to change the flight - in Tokyo!'
I hope somebody got that one.
So Paul - I am just doing my best to help. But, I am obvoiusly not very good at it.
- I don't like destructive debates. Let us be constructive.
Wisdom is constructive. Have anyone lately seen anyone acting as a scholar - who also had wisdom?
So where is the flight to - ParaBrahman or Neti Neti ??
Scholars like materialistic flights - and the wise teach - people so they get the right flight in this incarnation or even beyond.
And by all means - to all of you on Theos-talk - do fly where you - really- want to, - do run intellectual debates if you - really - want to - but don't expect - that all the wise ones - just keep silent all the time - on their ESP, E-mail or not.
Questions:
1. And on books etc. : What comments do you have on my e-mailed article on Theos-talk: "4389 An article.... " ??
2. How do you teach wisdom and what methods do you use Paul? You do teach don't you?
Happy showers to you all.
happy new hi-ho
