which made for celibacy in H P B.

You notice right!

Like I said, it was something that was important to the
Victorians and our
folks just have this need to carry it over into the 21st century.
All that
sort of thing does is make us look less virtuous than ridiculous.
A lot of
us have been laughing at that for a very long time.
