A few comments on one of Brigitte's statements

Brigitte recently wrote:

". . . If the Hiraf document [an article by HPB] and . . . [HPB's
book] Isis [Unveiled] mention India and some oriental terms, they
didn't have to be authentic Sout[h] Asian . . . or
have . . . 'oriental Masters' living in Tibet involved . . . ."

Here Brigitte states only one of at least two possibilities. Yes,
perhaps nothing in these works were "authentic South Asian". But the
contrary might be an equal possibility: perhaps something in these
works were "authentic South Asian." Furthermore, what kind of
evidence would prove the latter possibility? Brigitte is silent on
this.

Furthermore, why couldn't "oriental Masters" have been involved in
the writing of HPB's above mentioned writings?

Even K. Paul Johnson (whose writings Brigitte praises quite
frequently in her various posts) believes that HPB was in contact
with "real adepts".

His exact words are:

". . . there is little doubt that two real adepts visited Olcott in
New York. " The Masters Revealed (TMR), 62.

If HPB knew THESE "two real adepts" then why doubt that she might
have had other contacts and knew other "real adepts" residing in
India and Tibet?

For example, in Oct. 1880 at the Golden Temple at Amritsar, Olcott
wrote:

"...I was greeted, to my surprise and joy, with a loving smile by one
of the Masters, who for the moment was figuring among the
guardians...."

Nowhere in K. Paul Johnson's books does he express any real doubt
about the reality of this encounter. Johnson in TMR even speculates
about whom this "Master" may have been. I believe his speculations
are wrong but THE POINT I make in this context is that maybe, just
maybe . . . this was another "real adept" that HPB knew in India.
Maybe this "Master" provided HPB with material and even authentic
South Asian material for her writings?

Of course, Brigitte may have "much doubt" where Johnson had "little
doubt". I hope she will clarify her position AS COMPARED to
Johnson's documented views.

Much more could be said on this PARTICULAR POINT.
