past lives

I have been reading Leadbeater's "How Theosophy Came
to Me". He states in the opening pages how he met the
reincarnation of Pythagoras, whom he had known in a
previous life. I met someone the other day and had
that eerie intuition that I have known this person
before. Does anyone know how I can find out if I have
known this person and, if so, in what capacity?
