Dear Gopi:

MOTIVES what are they?

Are not the motives divided into two sections, perhaps more. But
basically there are those with are "good" and virtuous (according
to universal LAW) and the reverse, the "bad" and vicious and
which try to break the LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE.

Theosophy teaches that the VIRTUOUS are related to BUDDHI-MANAS.
and the vicious selfish and uncharitable relate to VICE and to
KAMA-MANAS. They continually seek to evade and break the
restrictive laws of righteousness which we call UNIVERSAL KARMA
(or LAW).

Or is this too simplistic?

Is this not the subject of most of our confusion?

Do we innately know with accuracy what is the difference between
"right and wrong?"

Or do we constantly try to evade this factor? if so why ?

Best wishes,

Dal

Hello,

Isn't motive itself a problem. Any motive or ambition is the ego
talking.
So that is what we have to watch for , the motive, the ambition.
That is
the one to be observed.

Gopi
