Thanks for your response. I suppose that the initial encouragement of astral
projection in the TS changed 180 degrees after the Hodgson Report and all of
the psychism flapdoodle that followed. Today the TSs all oppose such
practices, and discount them when they do occur. I really don't have a
problem with this because both techniques have problems.

1) kama-manas, has lots of detail including colors and shapes, but is highly
unreliable.

2) buddhi-manas, has no detail but is highly reliable.

The problem is that both methods are subject to a great deal of
after-the-fact interpretation.
