Dear Frank
You wrote: Angry words

Where-ever the cause may lie, you cannot hold Dallas as a scapegoat.
As we all know on this list all he might be "guilty" of is sharing all
he can.

Besides that, what purpose can be found in berating the past?
Correcting, or not, an historical inaccuracy here or there (should it
exist) shall never be the primary work of a seeker who I believe looks
always beyond the mundane and forgives all sins, real or imaginary,
since it is not fault which is sought, but freedom from fault.

On the face of it we must accept that you wish to mainly to set the
record straight. Yet the record is not and will never be straight,
Theosophically speaking, not even so far as the history of Theosophy
and its various interpretations are concerned. Right now it matters
not who became entangled in thorns or who fell by the way. Or rather
let me say it matters much, but I or anyone should rather take care
that we don't reach for stars and find only thorns in our grasp.

Grinding an axe is all very well, but after sharpening your blade
using it to wound another is like cutting yourself.

Let's regroup and admit, and forgive and forget and focus on the real
problem - living in our world and being true to Theosophy AND
surviving and growing for it.
