To Frank,

I can't help wondering what theosophical precedent you could claim
for making statements such as this about another person, let alone
a dedicated theosophist such as Dallas, who is currently spending
his life's energy in sending out into the world all he has gathered in
a lifetime of study of the Wisdom religion, and who does so with the
most faithful adherence to the spirit and to the letter of theosophy.
He is relentlessly fair, kind, non-personal and non-judgemental, and
he has shown over and over again tremendous depth of
understanding coupled with a fine humilty. Dallas provides us all
with an example of pursuing the Work of the Masters in the way
that is recommended by Them, by calling forth the best that is
within us and offering truth as best we can understand it to all who
ask. Statements such as yours quoted below are simply
unsupportable. But worse than that, they fly in the face of all that
the selfless and tireless workers of the theosophical movement
have spent their life's energy to try to accomplish. Whomever you
choose to support, if that person was a true theosophist, he or she
would be horrified to read words such as those coming from the
mouth or pen of one who professed to be his or her student. On the
other hand, such unwarranted personal attack of another in
"defense" of a person whom you call your theosophical teacher only
shows either that you have not absorbed what was being taught or
that what was being taught was not theosophy.
