In the first edition (1933) the interlaced triangles:
the gold triangle points downwards, the other triangle (outlined in gold),
but taking the green of the cloth as the filling between the outlines (with
gold smudges), points upwards, as it should do.
The gold triangle corresponds to the black triangle, in that they are both
pointing downward.

Thanks for info, that means that the seal of the first ed. is the same as on
my second ed.
The TS seal usually shown in the standard books have the brighter triangle
pointing upwards and the darker triangle pointing downwards.
But the seal on Crosbie's books has the darker one (transparent, showing the
dark green of the cloth) pointing upwards and the brighter one (filled
with gold) pointing downwards.
Would it not be logical to have the darker triangle (the green of the cloth
is much darker then the filled gold of the second one)pointing downwards?
