Not to mention even a casual seeker. This sort of incestuous, ie, group
self-centered thought, is pretty much unavoidable after enough time has
passed. Such discussion should be confined to members or sympathizers of the
group(s) involved;
because it is a sure fire turn off for new folks.

This was done over at the Theos-l list some years ago. I do not know if the
history sub-list still exists. There are also a couple of sites that focus
exclusively on theosophical history.

But I think, without looking at the guidelines for Theos-talk, that this list
is just that -- talk -- about anything related (however distantly) to
theosophy.
