HPB says in SDIII that the only real test of an Adept is whether he can
bring someone back from the 'dead' - and she qualifies that term.

##Aside from the fact that Dallas didn't write that -- Robert
##Crosbie (possibly
##an Adept, IMHO, Judging from his writings) did -- I would
##ask... How do you
##know whether or not Pythagorus allowed his students to call
##him that?
##
##However, even if he did allow it, did he also allow non

##another?
##
##The way that any teacher can be assumed a fraud or not, is by
##testing his/her
##teachings in the light of the Master within (if you have
##awakened him), or
##against the truths taught by a recognized Master.
##Leadbeater, in my view
##(after long and deep study of all the great Masters) meets
##none of these
##criteria.
