Hello Mic,
I have found over the years, that Theosophy comes in two versions. The first
and most important is the system of wisdom that slowly grows within the
consciousness of the student upon a direct interface with the CORE MATERIAL
itself. No intermediary is necessary, nor should there be. This will be the
most enduring and reliable form that one can experience. The second version
is the man made, man manipulated, man organized and man interpreted form. One
would be wise to diligently pursue the former and simply acknowledge the
inherent differences (weakness) of the latter.
Theosophy is essentially a self motivated study of spiritual realization,
activated by a certain "karmic readiness." Do not let the incessant pettiness
of personal opinion detract you from your core work. When the higher nature
finally awakens, so does the power to see beyond and through the self made,
self styled illusions of the material world.
One word of caution. Beware most of all, the experts. In a world that Science
tells us is governed by the law of relativity, there can be no absolutes.
Least of all absolute rights or wrongs or indeed, absolute experts.
Good luck.
Louis
