Well Dal, I actually took it straight from the card given to me
by the
TS when I first joined . On one side are the three objects and on
the
other side are the Three Truths - the quote is attributed to 'The
Idyll
of the White Lotus' - Light on the Path
The 1st two unmentioned were : 'The soul of man is immortal, and
it's
future is the future of a thing whose growth and splendour has no
limit'
& 'The principle which gives life dwells in us, and without us,
is
undying and eternally beneficent, is not heard, or seen, or
smelt, but
is perceived by the man who desires perception'
Cheers

##The IDYLL OF THE BLUE LOTUS ? or is it "WHITE LOTUS ?" Is
##this the book by Mabel Collins?
##
##In any case. The Law that each human makes for himself is
##KARMA. It is INDIVIDUAL. But it has to fit into the
##overlapping waves of the multiple Karma generators all around
##us. No one lives in a separate Universe all his own, even
##though the choices he/she makes are going to come back in
##time as their Karma.
##
##Once we grasp the idea that we are all, (atoms, to mankind, to
##Buddhas) IMMORTALS it makes sense to grasp that BROTHERHOOD
##involves everyone in our individual choices. That cannot be
avoided.
##
##The best course in such a considered case is to be generous,
##faithful to others, as to ourself, and treat all with
compassion.
##
##Taken as a mass, or a Host, mankind is made up of different
##elements and the influence of desire and mind are to be seen
##playing everywhere.
##
##Best wishes

##
##Hi Guys,
##
##I read something in it else that seems a bit different - I
##thought we each we're our own law givers - not an external
##authority. 'Each man is his own absolute law-giver, the
##dispenser of glory or gloom to himself; the decreer of his
##life, his rewards, his punishment' - The Idyll of the White
Lotus.
##
##Am I getting it all arse-about?
