Doss, interesting point.
Perhaps they would read Indian texts.
It is said that the Book of rules of which the VOS is an excerpt is
originally written in Telugu, an Indian tongue.
I am sure there a many many valuable manuscripts in Indian then in English.
It is said that the Adyar archives are in possession of a huge bulk of very
important manuscripts.
BTW, do we have translations of the SD into the main Indian languages?

It was well known during early days of TS, in India there were some chelas
of the Adepts who were not literate in English Language so they cannot read
any of the published writings about Theosophical Doctrines. In the
circumstances, I wonder how these chelas were taught about the minutae of
anthropogenesis and cosmogenesis?
