                        Who are the WISE who supervise Evolution ?

 

 

To secure a detailed view and trace of the changes in human and animal forms one ought to go, S.D. Index in hand, through the pages of the SECRET DOCTRINE.  In the last portion of the 2nd Volume, H.P.B. gives many details. 

 

There she compares the findings of science in the fields of archaeology and paleontology (which are only organized in the past 2 or 300 years) with the Occult records and observations which extend back over many aeons.  The departments of modern science raise hypotheses and theories based on their findings.  TheOccultist report on what they actually saw occurring -- those are historical and not guesses or extrapolations.

 

In S.D. I 181 mention is made of three streams of evolution that meet and mingle in this cycle.

 

1.  The Spiritual -- from which all archetypes are derived,

 

2.  The Intellectual -- from which the development of the mind and the contrasting nature of desire, passion and selfishness are to be seen, and,

 

3.  the Physical forms which are alsoin the charge of the Wise on behalf of Nature. 

 

Someof these Wise ones are named Dhyanis and Dhyan Chohans by H.P.B.  To secure an understanding of these powerful and Law-abiding beings a number of references in the S.D. need to be consulted.  This will unravel many of the present uncertainties and mysteries we have and give the stranger antique names of great powers and forces in Nature their legitimate place.

 

For a brief synopsis of Evolution one could profitably read the Chapters 2, 3, 4,14 and especially 15 in THE OCEAN OF THEOSOPHY by Mr. W. Q. Judge.  This is available “on-line” through http://www.blavatsky.net  and although this reading may cover about 40 pages the information is most valuable.  The 1st Chapter in that book deals with the relationship between the Adept, the elder Brothers, and ourselves -- and of the awesome responsibilities that are Theirs and ours.

Dear Fellow Seekers
      I am currently reading The Esoteric Tradition, GDP on or around p.329
V.1.  
I was thinking about whales, gorillas, dogs, cats.  He says that life forms
are allowed to specialize now, but will not advance any farther until the
next planetary round, if I understand what I am reading.
      My question or pondering is this:  Were we the Dyan-Chohans
specialized beasts in the last round.  I mean some of us of course.  The DC
are a step beyond us and where we are evolving too, is that not correct.  
Will we then remember our pets, or is the collective consciousness of the
animals standing in the way of that line of thinking?
      I would love to hear some thoughts on this.  Thanks,
