Dallas would offer:

EVIL is anything that KNOWINGLY BREAKS THE LAWS OF NATURE, it is
Kama, selfishness and desire inspired. If allowed to proceed we
do evil and confuse the world around us. We draw to ourselves
the Karma of confusion because of illusion because of ignorance,.

Evil arises from ignorance. Nothing is so demanding as to
preclude consultation with another. The two minds entering into
unison is more productive of good than of evil. Impartiality,
universality, exposure to the light of an audience, are sure
tests of whether a proposal is honorable or the reverse.

GOOD is a controlled obedience to the LAWS of NATURE -- which are
derived from BUDDHI and can be checked with the reference volume
held there for us of the experience of our MONAD for an immensity
of years in the past. Our INTUITION operates from that stand.

Our Mind - MANAS is able to determine whether a proposed action
is for the general good or turbulence of the World/Universe. We
can apply the touchstones of impersonality and universality to
such proposed actions. Buddhi stand always ready to help discern
the true and the good from the false and the selfish.

Then, decide if they ought to be allowed to proceed, or be
stopped. This is how KARMA is made,

Best wishes

Dallas

PS	Selfish indulgence always leads to an accumulation of evil
tendencies and this is offered by the "Masters of Evil" to those
who are Insecure, so as to add to their numbers.

Dear Louis,

You might absorb your self in every vice till Eternity slumbers.
We can
listen to others. We can experience vicariously.

Some have taught that by assiduously involving yourself in the
vices you
might best rid yourself of them. The teaching of the Devil Tarot
card
teaches us otherwise. That devil is an elemental being (or Tulpa)
that those
two unfortunates have produced by dint of their own efforts. We
can produce
these nasties and find ourselves slave to them. We are no longer
master, the
vice is our master.

This is true. By experience we acquire resistance to that
particular
temptation.

Chuck writes:

what is a

The thing is, the beast desires repetition. It becomes tedious,
it becomes
boring, but we are locked in. We are talking about addictions
here. That is
"vice" used in a narrow sense. A vice can be something like
spitefulness for
instance. Also we talk of plants having virtues.

No, we don't all need to become ascetics. Pleasure draws the soul
out and
into the world.

Best wishes to all,
Bruce
