Hello,

Wayne,

Theosophy is the "wisdom possessed by the gods." The 'God' of the theologians is no more than a belief, it has no reality. Truth is that which is. It has nothing to do with what we belief.

Maitreya is not a person, just like Christ is not a person either. It is GOODNESS incarnated and also TRUTH. Why can't we treat this subject with the respect that it deserves is beyond my understanding.

I agree that Truth is that which is.  Belief is based upon what we do (or attempt to do and fail at).  Most people I have met say it is possible to believe one thing and do another.  We always do what we believe.  I really don't know anything about Maitreya yet, I don't mean any disrespect.
