Dear friends,

I'm truly sorry I have to drop from these lists, at least for most of the 
summer.
For the past two weeks, I have been so wrapped up in work that I have been 
unable to attend to my e-mails at all.  Just now, when I finally checked, my 
cue had 1,000 e-mails!  Unfortunately, I am on "drop dead" deadlines on a 
couple of projects I MUST finish this summer, and each of these projects 
ought normally to take at least six months to do "the way God commanded."  As 
if that were not enough, just over this last weekend, yet one more project 
dropped on my lap, one that I will be deeply involved in for years to come.
Here's what I intend to do:  I will remain subscribed only to the theos-talk 
list (and will unsubscribe from the rest), for a maximum of two weeks.  
During that time, I will do my best to respond to those messages addressed to 
me that strike me as being of potential greater interest to most of you.  
After two weeks, I'll unsubscribe even from the theos-talk list.
Then, if and when I see a window of at least a few days in which I might be 
able to participate, I'll subscribe for that period.
Meanwhile, if there is any issue you REALLY feel you'd like to address, I'll 
do my best to respond -- though, given what I can foresee my circumstances to 
be, at least for the next three months, it'll be tough.  In general, I'll 
give top priority to any messages which are critical of the work I've 
published so far (or e-mails submitted by me).
I apologize to all of you for having to withdraw, especially since I consider 
this to be, by far, the best medium of communicating (physically) developed 
by humanity, so far.
I'll be sending a few e-mails which will make it more clear why I've been 
absent, & why I'll drop temporarily.
