Thanks David, for pointing out this all too often forgotten fact of life.
Indeed, if we use the symbolic imagery that we find in the new testament,
regarding the rage that Jesus displays with the money changers in the temple,
or, his doubt and fear expressed by his plea in the garden of Gethsemene to
"remove this cup." It would seem that even masters and initiates of a very
high order have other business to attend to in their karmic agenda's. Where
is it written that once the path is found and some degree of enlightenment
ensues, that the traveler, no longer has some very dark mundane issues still
to be resolved? Does the phrase "multi-tasking" come to mind? And why
wouldn't it apply to the spiritual explorer as well any uninitiated human
being?
