I first read about the "Abraham  --  A-Brahman" connection in the book
'Anacalypsis' by G. Higgins (1836), See Pag.387,
where he talks about the identity of Abraham and Sara with Brahma and
Saraswati.
A good reference book to have in the library.

No doubt in my mind of the connection.
