Re: Theos-World Theosophy, Aryans, and Racism

Races in esoterics refers to states of consciousness. There are scattered
throughout the world groups of aboriginal people whose physical bodies
descend from human physical bodies from a time when all of humanity was
aboriginal, mostly animal man, with very little emotional or wish life or
dream life. The lemurian race is a time period wherein most humans were in
this state. The body types descending from that period still exsit in parts
of the world in relatively pure form where intermarriage wasn't prevalent as
throughout most of the world. Examples given are the Tasmainians,
Australian aboriginals, certain amazon tribes, etc. This does not mean that
modern people in such bodies now are lemurian in their consciousness. Most
are atlantean like the rest of the world. Some are scientific or ayran in
consciousness. A few are Buddhic. The body stock is wearing out and with
intermarriage and infertility(as with the Tasmanians) such old body types
are becoming extinct, especially with the incroaching of "civilization".
Alice Bailey and D.K. teach that for the most part that other can these
groups and a few others there has been so much intermarriage that there are
no pure physical racial types anymore, that all the races including the
africans have been subject to enormous intermarriage, hence the pathology of
the racists and anti-semites. There are no physical races anymore with
distinct phsyical differences. Almost all physical racial problems will
disappear with continued intermarriage. The exception is the african
physical body types. The books have a vigorous defense of African American
Civil Rights, and this is written in the 30's and the 40's during a time
when it was very dangerous and unpopular to do so.

The "races" of the world now consist of mostly atlantean and aryan states of
consciousness, in other words, emotional and mental states of consciousness
and some buddhic individuals here and there. Aryan refers to those capable
of scientific thinking, hence our "Race" at this time is the Aryan race or
humans starting to thing for themselves, scientifically. This does not
refer to body type or skin color or country of origin. To relate to people
by the way they appear is prejudice and bigotry. To relate to people by how
they are in consciousness is appropriate and necessary. We speak to each
other on many different levels. People are consciousness not bodies.
People are Souls not material things. People are angelic beings in animal
bodies, not animals. Such are the consequences of materialism with the
rejection of the primacy of human conciousness and art.
