Dear Friend:
I am not familiar with the way in which the ISAIAH prophecy you refer
to is phrased -- presumably different translators have differing ideas
of how to express it. Which have you selected ?
If you could let me see it, then I may be able to offer something on
it.

Dear Mr TenBroek,
Thankyou for your references. I do know of Judge (How could a
theosophist
not), but I must admit I have never read anything of his - I'm more of
a
straight HPB myself. I will however look at his works.
One question with my original post though - Has anyone made a counter
argument against HPB in reference to ISAIAH prophecy - given that now
we
have the Dead Sea Scrolls as a further reference?
humbly,

I wonder if you are familiar with the articles and writings of William
Q. Judge?
He was one of HPB's right hand men and wrote extensively on
introductory theosophy in the PATH MAGAZINE that he edited in New York
between 1886 and 1896.
These are available on Internet at http://www.blavatsky.net and are
worth looking at.
Do let me know if you desire some more input.

Missionaries are a pain, whether theosophical or otherwise. Leave
them be. If you are asked, or you sense some genuine thinking or
enquiring going on, then proceed kindly and carefully to share what
you know. But do not hammer at them; Xtians have been doing that for
hundreds of years, why should we pick up their bad habit?
