RE: Theos-World the Mild leading the Mild

Dear Nicholas,

Very well said, especially your last paragraph on meditation. Spot on. I
also think a study of the SD, rather than a "read", *is* a meditative
process, a series of contemplations on the symbolism and 'substance', the
countless number of 'seed thoughts' contained therein.

On your first thoughts I would only add that deprecating the 'spiritual
path' of others is also a behaviour worthy of self-reflection. We might ask
ourselves why do we feel the need to put so much energy and passion into
criticising (lashing) others even if their imagined faults are real. Just
as our laziness and ignorance is something to be challenged, this too is
something that can be openly questioned. Christmas Humphries, an English
Theosophist and Buddhist, used to say "look to the faults in ourselves and
the good in others".

best to you,

Peter
