The points mentioned should be kept in mind by every inquirer.
All the writings are putting down in words a reality or facts. We need to
go beyond the words and see or understand the realilty behind ourselves.
Once we keep this in mind, our attitude and approach to any "sacred"
writing will be different from that of a fundamentalist who hangs on to
every comma and period and try to explain.
Sometime ago, one writer mentioned that while observing a well known
occultist trying to explain what he was observing. It was found that the
person was struggling to find words to express what he was
seeing/experiencing.
