Dear Art:
I agree with you.
Each one finds enlightenment in his own way.
Humility and self-effacement are what everyone has to adopt in the
face of the true monolithic wisdom of antiquity. -- an antiquity
which is unmeasured.
The Buddhist Bhikkus repeated: "Thus have I heard." So I write "what
I have read or studied."
Best wishes,
Dallas

By the way Dallas I deeply admire your long dedication to the
principles of
theosophy and feel you are truly wed to the ideas and concepts
underlying
the texts of theosophy... You do have I feel a very soul inspiring
manner
of delivery.

I realize that this is a cardinal belief on Theosophy but I do not
happen
to share it. To me the more I learn about Taoism, ancient philosophies
in
other traditions, Sufism , the more I am inspired. I frankly do not
feel
the same inspiration in theosophic texts! As an example of our
willingness
to sincerely approach the WISDOM TEACHINGS in other traditions.. we
need to
be humble and self effacing. - Art
