I think it does provide an answer. The jnanamudra is NOT an
elemental or demonic entity but rather a psychological projection
of the anima or animus. The difference, as I see it, between a
subjective psychological projection and an objective being
is that the former is a conscious projection while the latter is an
unconscious one.
