You are in the right place. Go ahed and ask questions.

This maillist is available 24 hours of the day and many are well read and
many respond to questions.  The access to others similarly interested or
even experts is very unique.

Some time ago a well known member of TS sent me some very misleading and
wrong information on a topic in which he had rudimentary knowledge. So I
went to another maillist where more knowledgeable folks around the world
participate and asked some questions on the issue. Within 2 days got
several feedbacks which showed he was totally wrong on the issue and I
communicated this to him. To this day he has not replied. (It takes a lot
of courage to acknowledge one is wrong!!!!)
