Since I know my own "gist" best, let me clarify. I did not apply #4 (or
1, 2, or 3) to all questions or everybody on the list, just to avoid (to
no avail evidently) such a stupid inference as you make.
Everybody has to decide for themselves how much thought, study and
preparation to make before making a statement or asking a question on
this list. I would prefer, for myself, and others too, should they care
to -- that we all spend more time and effort pondering on our own --
before posting a question or statement.
Yes, there would be less quanity of posts, but maybe higher quality.
