This was posted on SNETNEWS.And is not my personal experience (the four,
indent marks indicate it is it's third re-posting)

On to  my personal experience - When I was in India, I gave some children
some money and within a minute I was completely trapped by about 50 to
sixty kids all begging for more and I had none left (it was ll in
travellers cheques still). I didn't know what to do - I gave some my
western food (pepsi , mars bars etc) but others kept arriving until some
adults came over and shooed them all off.

When one visits areas of extreme poverty it is soul wrenching, that is why
I have been trying to find a way to help more people at once, but it seem
spretty impossible until we remove the current world economic system which
sucks the thirld world dry of resources only to see them spend what little
income they do get on weapons to support a CIA backed civil war. Conflict
is money.
