Whoa! I never said that, and I am sorry to have led you think so.
I am not personally in an ES nor have I ever been, and so have
absolutely no personal experience or knowledge of any ES.
All I know is what I read and have heard on this list (and theos-l).
A general consensus seems to be that the ES is political, secretive,
and elitist. This from folks who have been members. I personally
don't know, but I applaud Pasadena for ending their ES. There is
absolutely no reason for such a formal organization today (anyone
of like mind can get together informally at any time).
