I see a system based on 7 principles a little differently. In such a system it
is useful for me to visualize two triads and a fusion point. A point of
resolution if you will. The idea that the fourth globe or fourth anything in a
system of seven is "a little past the middle" misses the point, in my opinion.
If we think of the fourth point as a separate experience for resolving the
forces of complementary-oposing triads, then what we do in that fourth period
becomes crucial to the whole evolutionary act of synthesis, transformation and
transcendence.

Call it morality or ethics or whatever. The forces of duality are at play here
and the developing intuitive apparatus is what's at stake. If we cannot
resolve the critical issues of this time and place, then our usefulness as a
continuing social organism is in question.

The fact that the 4th ray is always associated with the principles of harmony
and balance thru conflict, serves as a constant reminder of the type of work
to be done at such a time.

It is not a given that the higher swing of the evolutionary arc, matter into
spirit, automatically occurs just because of its place in the numerical order.
Here as everywhere else, MEANING, rules.
