The 2 Quotes from Upanishad(s)

In the 1886 Wurzburg copy of THE SECRET DOCTRINE, the relevant parts of
the two passages (discussed by Nicholas, Paul and Tony) read:

QUOTE 1
". . . . who is Supreme & not Supreme (paravara) explains
*Mandakapanishad* (2.2.8) He is 'Supreme' as . . . ."
[Compare this with SD, I, 6.]

NOTE: Regarding (2.2.8), in my copy of the Wurzburg MSS, the first part
(2 is somewhat hard to read but the remainng part .2.8) is very clear
and distinct.

QUOTE 2
"In the *Mundaka Upanishad* it is written 'as a spider throws out &
retracts its web. . . (1,1.7). . . ."
[Compare this with SD, I, 83.]

NOTE: Concerning the word *Mundaka* in Quote 2, part of this word is
hard to read in my copy of the MSS. I can decipher: Munda This is
followed by two or three letters. Possibly: ka but there is no
indication that one of these letters is a "y".

Does any of this help to clarify the 1888 edition?
