As you mention my name Kym (so I feel allowed to speak on this), I'd
like to take this concept one step further and say that I believe
mankind has created a veritable religion out of suffering. Not only
sadistically (obviously) but also masochistically.

This is definitely a male-side problem in my view.
e.g The experienced male executive who gives the novice male employee a
real hard time to "toughen him up and make him learn by his mistakes".
I mean how ridiculous can one get with a philosopy like that (which
harms the both and the whole) - extrapolate that to all interpersonal
relationships and one ends up with crisis management, which is exactly
where we are in business, government and relationships currently!

e.g This ridiculous societal concept of "having to hit rock bottom"
before improving oneself - extrapolate that to the planet, cosmos,
evolution, and for every step forward one falls two back, which is where
we are cosmically currently!

How many "enlightened" beings do we know that after experiencing the
anguish, pain of suffering, facing and coming through the fear, and
understanding the meaning - ALL of which they voluntarily put themselves
through ....turn around and advocate that every being should "suffer"
exactly the same? What I hear them say is, "here is the answer wrought
by a process which I have endured on your behalf. Understand."

The pure dark-side ..... total lack of light, love, understanding,
compassion, can only exist in suffering, anguish, fear and hopelessness.
Which is why the dark-side has to be re-educated that only a balance of
"it" and the light is permissable.

I only know that suffering, torture and pain does not exist in the
Otherworlds, except if we take it there. That it does not exist out in
the cosmos, except when we take it there too. That I had absolutely no
concept of pain, suffering and/or sin - original or otherwise, when I
came in. That I expect none when I pass on. And that I feel none when
I am in my Buddhic (or Pagan) power.

No, IMHO, this suffering kick is mankind made and is all part of the
"domination" (self, others, g-d) error.

I think we've even forgotten what the word "suffering" means.....
Sub-fer......bear under .....I will CARRY THE WEIGHT OF YOU AND YOURS
Give me your pain, your anguish, your fear and I will carry it for you.
Ergo...this is because I have reached a state of understanding in which
there is no suffering!

Oh, I love having been alive in the "60's....
"he aint heavy he's my BROTHER."
Blessings
Annette
