I have been reading the traffic on Alan's situation.
The facts are very simple.
Alan needs help.
Any help is welcome.
If one can help in any way however insignificant, one should do it
immediately as one human being to another.
If one cannot help, get out of the way.

PS: The analogy I use is this. When you see someone injured on the road,
you just stop and help any way you can. I don't try to investigate why and
how. May be too simplistic an approach. It has worked for me.
