I looked at your chart and transits and I noticed (you probably already
know) that Saturn is doing a "station" on your Sun-Venus conjunction.

I, unfortunately, have had bad luck with progressed Sun-Venus conjunctions.
When I was in college my Venus was progressed to natal Sun and while I had
a wonderful artistic boyfriend at the time, it didn't last and losing him
was like losing something beautiful to appreciate. Instead of letting
"beauty" go, I rationalize (without knowing how true it is) that I (the
sun) had to become the embodiment of all that was beautiful so that I
wouldn't ever lose it again. This was a very difficult lesson for me which
I didn't enjoy much. I think people get lazy and think "well, if I can
appreciate the beautiful, I don't have to become beautiful." but this
doesn't work when Venus passes the Sun.

My husband, Eldon, has this progression right now in his chart and I just
want to kick him and say "Get on it. You can't just let others prepare the
way for your comfort and somehow deserve the glory for it. You have to do
all the work yourself and even if you were used to appreciating what others
could provide for you in the way of beauty, now with this progression,
you're going to learn to do be your own ideal of beauty so that you can
manifest beauty and stop expecting other people to do it for you all the
time."

This is my somewhat lame view of Sun-Venus. You probably don't recognize
it because you were born with it. My niece is also Sun-Venus conjunct in
the 12th house and she is becoming very beautiful, but I sometimes wish she
didn't have to work so hard at "becoming what she herself could appreciate"
while other people have it so easy just appreciating beauty where it exists
elsewhere, and which is generally more to my liking than having to "be my
ideal of beauty." "Being your own ideal of beauty" is VERY HARD work and I
didn't like it much. It's like having to be independent. Others don't
have to do it. Why should we?

Rambling,

Brenda
