Well, I for one do not have either 40K or 80K to send to Alan. I
suppose I could have kept silent, not having the correct help, but
decided that would signify not paying attention and/or not caring,
neither of which is true.
I think that when a person is feeling bad, any recognition alleviates
the pain and any brainstorming of the situation may trigger something
that may help with the solution.
I remember when I first wrote to a theos-buds about my difficult
situation, Alan was the first to respond immediately with a big
electronic hug. It didn't solve the problem, still hasn't as that's my
task, but it certainly helped me immediately emotionally, and set off a
chain of events that will culminate in me finding myself and my place
again.
IMHO, it was not "analysis". The words that were recorded emanated from
heart's desire and the joint process of manifesting to satisfy a need
has begun. Yes, it could have been done silently. But by that token,
this theosophy list is a contradiction in terms.
I stand corrected but not apologetic.
Cheers
Annette
