Re: Celibacy, monogamy, and other

Dear K. Paul Johnson:
That's the first time I've heard someone explain celibacy periods
astrologically - but why not :)

True, none can know for sure about future situations, unless one sets
out to control them. However, it does appear that, once learned for
sure, a lesson does not have to be repeated and concepts internalized
motivate future behaviour.

I sometimes ponder how I would react if presented again with either
romantic love or sexual desire. If a beautiful spritually developed
male dropped in my lap, I probably wouldn't know what to do! The
paradox of having all this intellectual capability and knowing what it's
like to be in the moment and let the universe unfold.

Last night I caught some of a repeat of the movie Powder. The albino
youth born with higher energy and paranormal abilities. As he was able
to hear and feel all the thoughts, emotions and motivations of others,
he could not live with "normal" people without being hurt. I think I
prefer to wait until we can all hear and feel like that before engaging
in communion again!

Don't disagree. If one removes it from the larger event of race
development, physical intimacy seems to serve initially to teach us
about how much or not we love and respect ourself, rather than same for
others.
Regards
Annette
