 Actually, the impression I got from the Mahatma Letters was that, in general,
the Mahatmas thought that it wouldn't work, but it was worth a try, so they
allowed Moria and Koot Hoomi to give it a try. This is why I'm skeptical about
the "latter day Mahatmas".
