Dear Fernando:
You will find one of the best references on the scope of the work of
the Masters (in older times they were known by other names:
initiates, prophets, seers, sages, magi, "Wise men of the East,"
gymnosophists, Yogis, etc...) given by Mme. Blavatsky in ISIS
UNVEILED, Vol. 2, pp. 98 to 104. Also in ISIS you will find them
referred to in other pages such as
Vol, 1 pp 580, Vol 2, pp. 25 124 140-3 169 608 615 , Secret
Doctrine II 275, 281.
You will notice that she stresses there, as also later on, in other
books and articles by her, that to become one of these great men is a
matter of desire and design which all humans can aspire to,-- as they
arose from humanity and by their own efforts achieved the eminence
that they achieved of knowledge and wisdom. This knowledge and
wisdom they always place freely at the service of those who aspire to
be true brothers and to help others without expecting any reward.
The discernment between fantasy and true knowledge is acquired by
deep study. All her books will lead the true student to an
understanding of the fact that true wisdom cannot be kept selfishly
for private use. The shining has to be for all. But there is also a
great responsibility when one has acquired wisdom and that is
discrimination in making it available to others.
The key to all wisdom is study and the service of others who are in
need.
I hope this is of help. Dallas

| Before Blavatsky nobody talk about Masters...today everybody
can
| rotulate yourself by "spokesman" of everything.
| In the Mahatmas Letters they say that don't use "mediuns".
| But nothing to impede people that never knows what is a
initiation
| believe, dream or suppose that is a shinning. I think that all of
us knows
| beautifull words or ideas...but it's not enough.
| To discern between fantasies selfishness and what is altruism
is that
| question.
