I think the penchant for secrecy stems from the ES mindset, where the
proceedings and teachings are indeed kept secret. Some of the Wheaton higher-
ups may also belong to Co-Masonry who are even more paranoid about their
"secrets". This frame of mind spills over into the administration of the TS
where the staff may belong to both or either of these organizations. They
should be reminded that the TS should not be run like the ES or the Co-M, that
the TS is an open organization where freely expressed opinions are allowed and
where its officers are democratically elected (most of the time).
