Dear Thoa: O

Numberless universes seems possible, but not of the material or of the
consciousness which we have on this one. Our links and work under Karma
are here. Until we progress to the optimum that is provided in this
particular "School/"Class" we won't have to deal with others.

SD I p. 207 top et seq seems to depict the possible perfection we can
aspire to

The Monads/"minds" that we are as humans and in this stage of learning and
living are said to be "immortal." Like the "atom" of Science, they are
eternally moving, and entitative in themselves. If that is the case all
and each being in the Universe is such a being, a "unit of consciousness."
But there are degrees of progress and the shared responsibility of our
being "human" implies that we tutor and care for those "Monads" which are
less advanced than we are, which are cycling through the mineral,
vegetable, animal and our brother human stages.

The Universality of Spirit and the brotherhood of all beings seem t me to
go hand in hand.

Science in all departments studies NATURE. Nature already contains all the
materials and is guided by universal laws which unite all beings together
in all possible ways.

Theosophical philosophy does not speak of the "death" of a World, or a
Universe, except in a figurative manner. What is implied is that it goes
into a rest phase (a Pralaya). Some are much longer than others, but when
they are over the total life and lives of that World/Universe revitalize,
become active again and in the same conditions an position as they had
achieved in earlier manifestation.

There is no "annihilation," or "death" in such a concept, only a change of
consciousness from "awake" and active/responsible, to one of rest and
sleep, on a small or a large scale.

The justice and merciful aspect, the impartial and immutable aspects of the
LAW of Karma would demand equality of treatment for all beings of whatever
degree.

The human stage in regard to its possible perfection at any one stage would
then demand that those who achieved return to be of assistance to those who
have not yet achieved, and they stay and help. This would also be true
charity and unselfishness. It would be the highest cooperation and
self-sacrifice.

Now I am probably wrong in some details or the development of these ideas
and would respect any contribution to them for further discussion.
