Yes, what we are now, me, you, us, our
present and "incarnated" individualities,
are unique, will only exist once and will never be repeated.
In that very important (for us mortals) sense
we can say me, you, us, we are not eternal,
we are going to die and disolve into oblivium.
Re-incarnation is a very interesting theory,
a sensible explanation for many human things,
and over all, confort for our psique,
for our personality that refuses to die
and enjoy living in this world of ours.
One problem with re-incarnation is mathematics:
how do we explain the fact that human world population
was only a few millions not long ago and is now
well into the billions and still growing.
When or where did these new souls encarnated previously?
How come these new souls seem to be (at least)
as developed as the rest? When or where did they get their
experience?
This is why we should consider that in many ways
we are all part of the collective soul of humanity.
A collective conscience?
I think Jung studied this before but for different reasons.
Maybe we are not as separated from each other
as we seem to be, maybe we are all one after all.
