Dear Dallas,

The First Carol is entitled "Christmas Song" and is to be found in "The
Eternal Verities" published by Theosophy Company.  There is an excellent
chapter on Christmas including the astronomical significance, the story of
Jesus' birth, HPB's article entitled: The Origin of the Christmas Tree and
a story entitled "Father Christmas" upon which the play "The Christmas
Light," given each year in Theosophy School, is based. I believe the second
carol was written by a member of ULT.

"The Eternal Verities" is a simple statement of the principles of Theosophy
written for children with stories to illustrate each chapter. Also included
are "Memory Verses", indeed mantras, which concisely state the principles.
There is also a section of songs which are used in Theosophy School. I
believe ULT or Theosophy Company could provide interested parties with
other help for teaching children.

My memories of growing up in Theosophy School are some of my most cherished
ones. What I learned there has formed the basis for my conduct as I have
grown; to the best of my ability, that is.
