theosophical will

After reading the STUDIES IN THE BHAGAVAD GITA (London, Theo. Pub. Society,
1903), which is a discard from our Olcott Library and has this inscribed
inside the cover:
The Law of love will be my guide,
In dealing with my fellow man.
By his rules I will abide,
And test the Law when 'ere I can.
I thought I'd like to try to interest students in a theosophical will.
MY THEOSOPHICAL WILL
I give all of my senses, sense apparatus, sensation, and sense reception to
the angels who live through them and who, until they are recognized and
given their just due, will always cause karma (and havoc) in my life.
I give my Ego "duty," so that my actions here on earth can occur without
thought of self. The Ego is thus separated from action in the three worlds.
I give the elements of physical, astral, and mental matter "sacrifice," so
that the cosmic beings beyond the limits of my evolution may use me as a
channel for their energy to reach the earth.
I give the ascended masters the privilege of my ascension. For it is by
their perfect timing and choice, that my physical apparatus shall be
transfigured and I may transcend its current limitations.
What I leave for me, is my search for Self. Because in the midst of all
this magnificent life, it is certainly remarkable that some of it, though
changing at times, defines who I AM.
